Regency Glass has announced a strategic partnership with Corning Incorporated to introduce a ground-breaking triple glazing product that promises to redefine the glazing industry. This new solution features Corning’s ultra-thin architectural glass, produced using an advanced fusion forming process to create a 0.5 mm center pane.
This ultra-thin glass maximizes the argon gas volume within the triple-glazed unit, significantly improving thermal insulation and energy efficiency. The product delivers center-of-glass U-values between 0.7 and 0.9 W/m²K for a standard 28 mm unit, offering up to a 35% improvement in energy performance compared to current triple glazing solutions. Additionally, it is up to 9 kg lighter per square meter than traditional triple-glazed units, enhancing ease and safety during installation without compromising strength or durability.
Regency Glass has invested heavily in technology, personnel, and training to support this launch, aiming to provide a more cost-effective and advanced product. The collaboration leverages Corning’s extensive experience in glass innovation and materials science, including its pioneering work on ultra-thin and durable glass products.
The new triple glazing solution is expected to enter the market in early 2026, marking a significant step forward in glazing technology and energy efficiency for modern building design.
