Fives has officially joined La Glass Vallée, the renowned French association dedicated to luxury glass manufacturing. This move marks a strategic step for Fives as it continues to deepen its collaboration with local glassmakers and advance its role in supporting more sustainable and innovative glass production.
La Glass Vallée brings together around 50 member companies across Normandy and Hauts-de-France, forming a high-performance ecosystem that spans the entire glass manufacturing chain, from model makers and glass producers to decorators and logistics providers. With approximately 12,000 employees represented, the association plays a vital role in maintaining France’s leadership in the luxury packaging sector.
Stéphane Franconville, President of La Glass Vallée, welcomed the addition: “The arrival of Fives within La Glass Vallée is a real asset to our ecosystem. Its industrial expertise, particularly in decarbonisation, brings added value to an already strong network, with a clear focus on the future.”
By joining the association, Fives will participate in innovation projects and environmental responsibility initiatives while strengthening ties with luxury bottle producers. The company has already partnered with major industry players such as Verallia, Pochet, O-I, and Verescence, designing electric and hybrid furnaces that are key to reducing the sector’s carbon footprint.
