EcoVadis is a respected global platform that evaluates companies across four core areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. For energy-intensive sectors like glass manufacturing, excelling in these areas is crucial to minimizing environmental impact and fostering ethical operations.
With 72 points, Wiegand-Glas ranks in the 90th percentile, placing it among the top 10% of companies worldwide evaluated by EcoVadis. This ranking reflects excellence in integrating eco-conscious processes, such as energy efficiency, waste reduction, and responsible sourcing, alongside strong labour and ethical standards.
