Egypt Aluminum Demonstrates Strong Financial Performance in First Nine Months of FY2024-25

Egypt Aluminum (Egyptalum), a cornerstone of the Egyptian and African aluminium industry, has released its financial results for the first nine months of fiscal year 2024-2025, covering the period ending March 31, 2025.

The figures demonstrate a significant uplift in performance, highlighting the company’s continued growth trajectory.

For the nine months ended March 31, 2025, Egyptalum reported a substantial increase in net profit after tax, which surged by 89% year-over-year. Net profit reached EGP 9.894 billion (equivalent to approximately US$ 194.91 million), a notable improvement from EGP 5.227 billion (US$ 102.97 million) recorded during the same period in the previous fiscal year.

This robust profit growth was underpinned by strong revenue generation. The company posted revenues of EGP 32.062 billion (US$673.3 million) for the July 2024 to March 2025 period. This represents a significant increase from the EGP 22.460 billion (US$ 442.7 million) reported in the corresponding nine months of the prior fiscal year.

These results build upon a solid performance in the preceding fiscal year. In FY 2023-24, Egyptalum achieved a net profit after tax of EGP 9.324 billion (US$ 183.68 million), marking a 60% year-on-year increase from EGP 3.692 billion (US$ 72.73 million) in FY 2022-23. Revenues in FY 2023-24 also saw considerable growth, reaching EGP 32.815 billion (US$ 646.46 million) compared to EGP 22.045 billion in the previous fiscal year.

Egyptalum’s consistently strong financial performance underscores its operational efficiency and its strategic position within the aluminium market. The significant increase in both revenues and net profit in the first nine months of the current fiscal year demonstrates positive momentum and reinforces the company’s standing as a leading player in the region’s industrial landscape. These results reflect positively on Egyptalum’s ability to navigate market dynamics and deliver value.
